You are right. The market can react differently to the news, that is, even if positive news comes out, the market can sharply go in the opposite direction, ignoring the readings of any indicators and any technical figures and patterns. Therefore, I think it is better to avoid such periods in trading in order to protect your deposit and look for entries into the market when it calms down and becomes more understandable.
