Why traders lose actually?

For me it’s usually not one bad entry method, it’s risk getting progressively worse once emotions kick in. Trader takes a loss, sizes up to recover it, then suddenly a normal losing streak becomes an account problem. Same thing after a hot streak when confidence turns into overleverage
