What is the difference between technical and fundamental analysis?

How about reading the book How to Read the Financial Pages by Michael Brett?

Most of the contents of the books are about the fundamental analysis (stock market).

But when it mentions support and resistance (technical analysis) it describes it in round number.

That is how important the round number especially in the long term perspective.

Actually I owned the book in 2007 but now I lost it throwing it somewhere. It is just a memory now.

Foreign exchange is a part of the whole picture of the financial world.

Like another business that a higher capital gives the higher returns but in forex trading you can start with a lower capital like $100.

Technical analysis examines price charts and trading volumes to identify patterns and trends. The main focus is on historical data, indicators and technical tools. Fundamental analysis evaluates the intrinsic value of an asset based on economic, financial and other qualitative and quantitative data. This includes macroeconomic indicators, company reports, news and political events. And you need to understand that long-term price trends are created by fundamental data and events, and according to technical analysis we can more efficiently and accurately search for entry points into the market.

What is the difference between technical and fundamental analysis?
Technical analysis focuses on price movements and chart patterns to predict future market behavior, using tools like indicators and moving averages. In contrast, fundamental analysis examines economic factors, financial statements, and market conditions to assess an asset's intrinsic value. Both methods serve different purposes in trading strategies.

"How to Read the Financial Pages" by Michael Brett offers valuable insights, especially on fundamental analysis. The emphasis on support and resistance at round numbers highlights their significance in trading. Forex indeed allows entry with lower capital, making it accessible while still requiring a solid understanding of market dynamics for success.
