Descriptions

• To maintain the implementation, adequacy and effectiveness of the Project Management Systems.
• To monitor and verify the implementation of works at site.
• To interface and communicate with all departments and project sites to develop and maintain the Project Management Systems.
• To review and recommend amendments to the documents submitted by contractor
• To advise senior management staff on technical and contractual requirements relating to the projects.
• To provide general counsel, guidance, training, education and direction to the job site personnel and employees.
• To coordinate, review and report any feedback from clients, with a view for preventing non conformances and the general improvement of organization, practices and procedures.
• To monitor and report progress schedule at site
• To perform individuals assignments as Site Representative and to monitor supervision by Supervision Consultant (SC) at site.
• To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Project Management related to the job scope and wok place as required by the Company.
• To monitor and coordinate the construction activities at site.
• To oversee the execution of construction plans to ensure stringent standards of quality and safety are complied with and the specified engineering and construction processes.
• To ensure that the Supervision Consultant (SC) supervise the construction works in accordance with the specification of approved drawings, plans, work procedures and Quality System Methods.
• To review projects risks in order to establish contingency plans as and when necessary.
• To identify deficiencies and initiate remedial action to ensure the execution of the Project as and when required.
• To command rectification orders when works fail to meet the strict standards fixed and to instruct the preparation of explanatory reports by consultants as to quality control, casting alignment, etc. as necessary
• Ensure that the Contractor's letters be replied on a timely basis.
• Undertake all other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the management.

Requirements

• Minimum Degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent
• At least 10 years of working experience in management of major projects. Hand-on experience is required.
• Knowledge in civil, mechanical, electrical, structural and geological as they relate to public works projects.
• Knowledge of the principles and practice of Quality Control Assurance.
• Have more experience in big size building projects.
• Knowledge of the laws, ordinances, building and other work facilities.
• Hands on experience in Construction Management and project Management, rather than management contracting.
• Those with building construction in railway/infrastructure experience will be added advantages.
• Strong leadership & communication skills
