osition Summary:
Responsible for geoscience well planning, monitoring and data acquisition for drilling activities comprising well development program and a deepwater appraisal well. Work with team to ensure comprehensive risk and contingency analysis is completed, documented in drilling programs and fully understood by execution team. Provide daily reports to all Stakeholders and prepare final geologic well reports.
:Requirements:
• Bachelor degree in Subsurface (Geology, Geophysics, Reservoir Engineering)
• Minimum of 15 years geologic operations experience including at least 5 years as a well-site
• geologist and 5 years as an operations geologist with oil and gas operators
• Up to date experience in geologic operations systems and capable of quick look petrophysical
• analysis
• Experience in managing well-site staff and data acquisition contracts
• Prior experience in pore pressure prediction is an advantage
