Billionaire fund manager Tim Draper has invited crypto streamers to join his online channel, DraperTV, on the Pump.fun crypto platform. The Draper Associates founder urged his X followers to watch DraperTV on Pump.fun.
Launched in January 2024, Pump.fun is a Solana-based meme coin launchpad where anyone can create and immediately trade coins, requiring the least technical prowess. To put it simply, a meme coin is a type of cryptocurrency that is created as a parody of mainstream cryptocurrencies. Nonetheless, the popularity of coins like Dogecoin, a parody of Bitcoin (BTC), after Elon Musk's shoutout has turned it into a serious segment within the crypto economy.
The Solana-based launchpad makes it very easy to mint and trade coins without the need for coding or trading experience. Solana is one of the leading blockchain ecosystems, and its explosive growth over the years has turned it into the world's sixth-largest cryptocurrency by market cap. The network’s builders and investors will gather at the Solana Breakpoint in Abu Dhabi in a few weeks. Launched on Pump.fun on Oct. 10, DraperTV lets you watch content featuring Draper and other leading entrepreneurs. The DTV token was trading at $0.0071 at the time of writing, and its market cap stood at $7.2 million. Draper earlier shared that DraperTV will be sharing exclusive rewards within its community over the next few months.
