Responsibilities
- Responsible and accountable for the management of the Planning Department based at HQ.
- Coordinates and integrates planning functions and responsibilities of all site projects and HQ operations and liaises with all relevant departments.
- Ensure construction process, productivity, durations and sequencing and all resource management are appropriate at all stages of project planning
- Lead and manage the Planning Department including supervision of teams of site and office staff
- Develop recovery programmes and mitigation operational plans when required
- Monitor project operations and advise the project team on the progress of work
- Prepare periodic progress reporting to senior and site management and to Clients
- Responsible for monitoring and reporting on project planning and performance.
- Provide planning support to other departments
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- A minimum of 15 – 20 years in construction.
