ooo jarang jumpa nurse cina kat gov atau private hospital...
gaji rendah jadi nurse so ramai orang melayu n india jer jadi nurse...

cina byk jadi doktor... tu pun sebab kena housmanship.. lepas habis di private hospital atau buka clinik sendiri.

Industri pelancongan kesihatan Malaysia berkembang pada kadar purata antara 16 dan 17 peratus setahun berbanding purata global 12 hingga 14 peratus

KUALA LUMPUR: Penyusutan ringgit turut berperanan menyumbang kepada pertumbuhan industri pelancongan kesihatan di Malaysia.

Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Majlis Pelancongan Kesihatan Malaysia (MHTC), Sherene Azli, berkata kos rawatan di Malaysia lebih mampu ditanggung oleh pesakit berbanding di negara lain dalam rantau ini.

“Jika dibandingkan dengan Amerika Syarikat (AS), pesakit dapat berjimat sehingga 85 peratus dari segi kos.

“Oleh itu, turun naik mata wang juga amat mendorong pelancong kesihatan, memandangkan mereka memperolehi lebih nilai bagi setiap wang yang dibelanjakan di negara ini,” katanya.

Baru-baru ini, AmInvestment Bank dalam nota penyelidikan berkata, pengendali kesihatan swasta tempatan mungkin terjejas ekoran kelemahan ringgit berbanding dolar AS. Ini kerana kos input utama seperti ubat-ubatan, bekalan dan peralatan perubatan adalah dalam denominasi dolar AS.

Bagaimanapun, Sherene berkata Kementerian Kesihatan (KKM) mengawal kadar siling untuk rawatan penjagaan kesihatan, sekali gus memastikan perkhidmatan kekal berpatutan.

Ia adalah selain Jadual Fi Perubatan 2013 yang ditetapkan KKM, ditambah dengan insentif yang diperkenalkan kerajaan, seperti pengecualian Cukai Jualan dan Perkhidmatan (SST) ke atas bil perubatan, yang telah meningkatkan daya tarikan Malaysia sebagai peneraju destinasi pelancongan kesihatan.

Industri pelancongan kesihatan Malaysia berkembang pada kadar purata antara 16 dan 17 peratus setahun berbanding purata global 12 hingga 14 peratus, apabila negara memanfaatkan semua faktor tersebut.

“Pelancongan kesihatan merupakan antara industri yang berkembang pesat dalam sektor ini, mencatatkan pertumbuhan dua angka berbanding empat peratus yang dicatatkan industri pelancongan itu sendiri,” katanya.

Pada 2017, sektor penjagaan kesihatan Malaysia mencatatkan perolehan kira-kira RM1.3 bilion daripada lebih satu juta ketibaan pelancong kesihatan, dengan pertumbuhan ini menyumbang lebih RM3 bilion kepada Keluaran Dalam Negara Kasar.

MHTC juga mengenal pasti beberapa negara, iaitu Indonesia, India, China, Vietnam dan Myanmar sebagai pasaran teras berdasarkan jumlah pelancong kesihatan, serta potensi pertumbuhan masing-masing. Pelancong kesihatan utama ke Malaysia bagi menjalani rawatan ialah dari Indonesia, India, China, Indo-China, Jepun, Bangladesh, United Kingdom, Filipina, Singapura, Australia dan AS.

Di peringkat domestik, Sherene berkata Kuala Lumpur dan Pulau Pinang menjadi destinasi utama pelancong kesihatan sejak sekian lama, didorong terutama oleh faktor mudah diakses menerusi kemudahan lapangan terbang antarabangsa.

“Kita juga mula menyaksikan pertambahan hab penjagaan kesihatan di Johor, Melaka dan Sarawak, disokong oleh usaha kerajaan untuk menjadikan industri ini sebagai pemacu pertumbuhan ekonomi utama, serta strategi perniagaan penyedia penjagaan kesihatan swasta untuk memanfaatkan peluang tersebut, ” katanya.

MHTC diberi peruntukan RM20 juta bagi merealisasikan mandat kerajaan untuk mengembangkan industri itu sebanyak 25 peratus pada 2019 menerusi Belanjawan 2019.

Kenapa erk isu ni x msuk berita kt tv tu erk?ka aku terlepas pandang?kalo msuk berita kt tv sure pantai hospital kena boikot kaw2 punya.bole melingkup terus..tp tu r kerajaan kan bela cina cina ni.

Boycott won't affect a big established conglomerates like Pantai.
