JIka anda biasa ikut trend pemilik supercar, majoriti mereka jadikan kereta sebagai bahan koleksi atau “collectors item”. Jarang sekali kereta begini kita jumpa setiap hari di jalanraya. Ia biasanya dipandu hujung minggu dan juga di waktu malam.*


Lihat sahaja angka jualan Ferrari, Lamborghini dan Porsche di Malaysia. Ia meningkat setiap tahun tapi kita jarang jumpa kereta ini di jalanraya biasa. Pelik bukan?

Ia kerana supercar dimiliki sebagai “aset” berbanding sebuah alat pengangkutan. Tapi lain halnya dengan peguam Jepun ini yang memandu Mclaren P1 beliau setiap hari. Tinggal di daerah Ota Ku dan memandu ke pejabatnya di Ginza, tempat yang memang jem teruk. Sebenarnya di Tokyo, semua tempat jemnya memang teruk.

Tapi disebabkan firmanya yang kaya, Go Hiramatsu boleh datang seawal 5 pagi ke pejabat, ketika lebuhraya dan jalanraya masih lengang dan pulang ke rumah menjelang tengahari. Sebenarnya kalau anda tanya mana-mana orang Jepun sekalipun, memandu ke pejabat adalah perkara yang paling “rare” di buat orang.

Bukan sahaja sebab mahal, malah ia membuang masa. Tapi bagi Go Hiramatsu, beli kereta dengan harga arwah tapi meninggalkannya di rumah adalah lebih merugikan. Jadi, beliau pandu sahaja ke pejabat dan lebih menarik lagi, beliau mengasah kemahiran memandunya hampir setiap hujung minggu di litar Fuji.

Ini baru betul beli kereta sukan dan gunakan sebaiknya. Kalau di tanya Abang Japar, apa kriteria yang patut dibuat oleh pengeluar model edisi terhad (LaFerrari, Huayra BC) untuk bakal pembeli mereka?

Uji mereka di litar dan beri catatan masa minimum. Barulah kereta ini dihargai dengan kemahiran memandu. TIdaklah kereta dibeli dan simpan sebagai barang dagangan masa hadapan.

Biasa juga kami jumpa waktu track day ada yang bawa NIssan GT-R tapi masih tak dapat pandu bawah 3 minit.
