More From Forbes
Tom Cruise is in the early stages of development with SpaceX and NASA to become the first actor to star in an action-adventure film shot in outer space.
Reported by Deadline, the film will not be a part of the Mission: Impossible franchise where Cruise has performed a number of high-octane stunts involving gravity, including hanging off a jet plane during takeoff in Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation and more recently hanging out of a helicopter in Mission: Impossible Fallout.
The existence of the project was confirmed by NASA administrator Jim Bridenstine in a tweet which specifies that the project would potentially be filmed at the International Space Station. Situated 250 miles above Earth the space station carries out research and a number of cutting-edge experiments.

Key points
The potential issues here lie in the details. If Tom Cruise goes into space you have to expect that he’d have to receive full training to become an astronaut which is no easy feat in itself. Following screenings, medical etc, the actual evaluation process takes approximately 2 years.
Though not too long in film terms, Tom Cruise is 57 years old, albeit seemingly in great shape the task of being space-ready will be daunting - at least on paper. John Glenn is the oldest astronaut to enter space at 77 years old but this was after a stellar career in the military and many years of extensive training for space flight.
With Elon Musk being vocal around his concept of commercializing space flight it will be interesting to see what steps the actor has to take to qualify, and ergo the viability of space flight for the average person.
Training
Outside of learning to fly you would imagine the physical element of astronaut training through NASA would be mandatory for a space visitor.
An excerpt from NASA’s official website states the following in regards to selection and training:
“As part of the Astronaut Candidate training program, candidates are required to complete military water survival before beginning their flying syllabus, and become SCUBA qualified to prepare them for spacewalk training.
“Consequently, all Astronaut Candidates are required to pass a swimming test during their first month of training. They must swim 3 lengths of a 25-meter pool without stopping, and then swim 3 lengths of the pool in a flight suit and tennis shoes with no time limit.
They must also tread water continuously for 10 minutes wearing a flight suit.
“Candidates are also exposed to the problems associated with high
(hyperbaric) and low (hypobaric) atmospheric pressures in the altitude chambers and learn to deal with emergencies associated with these conditions.
“In addition, Astronaut Candidates are given exposure to the microgravity of space flight during flights in a modified jet aircraft as it performs parabolic maneuvers that produce periods of weightlessness for about 20 seconds. The aircraft then returns to the original altitude and the sequence is repeated up to 40 times in a day. Final selection as an astronaut will depend upon satisfactory completion of the training and evaluation period.”
Presumably a number of these measures will have to be met for health and safety purposes and to maximize the chances of success for the production. On top of training, there’s also the matter of actual filming. Will a crew be required to go to space also? Will there be a filming rig set up on the space station if the crew is absent? What health and safety parameters will have to be followed to not endanger real astronauts? Can the project still look good without a completely controlled environment? For such an aspirational movie there’ll certainly be a number of hurdles to get over.
The exposure for the industry of spacewill also be important for both NASA and SpaceX. The project overall would be monumental if successful and would cement Mr. Cruise’s name in the history books.

Boleh jadi... Mungkin dunia dah kiamat sebelum manusia ke marikh..

Setakat nak jadi pelancong kesana boleh kot.. Nak hidup macam kat bumi makan ratusan/ribuan tahun lagi tu..

Kiamat tu di gambarkan begini
81:1-2

إِذَا الشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ وَإِذَا النُّجُومُ انْكَدَرَتْ وَإِذَا الْجِبَالُ سُيِّرَتْ

Apabila matahari digulung, dan apabila bintang-bintang berjatuhan, dan apabila gunung-gunung dihancurkan

tgh dok bayangkan matahari kene gulung mcm mana? :D
Bintang yg jatuh tu jatuh ke bumi ke
Matahari pun salah satu bintang kan?
Jatuh tu drp atas kan?

mungkin dia tak jatuh ke marikh
Sbb tu depa dok ligan nak lari ke sana kot
