Can you count the number of ’single day accidents’ in the video!? The 3 km long Lefortovo Tunnel has a river running over it and water leaks at some points(Russian engineering!). When the temperature reaches freezing point, the wet portions of the road freezes and the result the video.
It used to be the only tunnel in Europe to be called as ‘Tunnel of Death’; but it seems other countries like Turkey also use Russian engineers since Turkey too has a ‘Tunnel of Death’. There is actually a laundry list of the same name tunnels in Europe and the rest of world.
