Default Top 5 game trailers from E3 2018

E3 2018 is happening right now from 12th June to 14th June and as always, gamers all around the world are staying up late nights (if you’re not in the USA) chasing up reports and coverage on all the upcoming games getting announced this year. Lucky for you, however, we’ve put together the five best trailers (in our opinion) announced so far from E3!

Forza Horizon 4 (Xbox)

Car enthusiasts, gearheads, sim-enthusiasts – better strap yourselves in, Forza Horizon 4 is here and it looks mighty gorgeous. It was rumoured that the game might be taking place in Japan or even Hong Kong, but that’s not the case as you’ll be revving cars down the winding backroads of Great Britain to tearing up the streets of London through a dynamic weather system that allows for transitions between four seasons.

Forza Horizon 4 is slated for a release date of 2nd October 2018. The game will run at 4K resolution on the Xbox One X and will include over 450 different cars.

Resident Evil 2 (PS4)

We can’t remember the last time we’ve seen a Resident Evil game trailer that is this thrilling and terrifying. Yes, it’s not exactly a “new” game, but the trailer for this remake of Resident Evil 2 looks to be very promising. While there’s no gameplay video yet, there’s only a confirmed release date of 25th January 2019.

If the original Resident Evil’s remake – Resident Evil HD – success (in sales number) is anything to go by, then we’re pretty confident that the Resident Evil 2 remake is going to be just as good.

The Last of Us 2 (PS4)

Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us was an award-winning game that has become one of the must-plays on the PlayStation 4 and if The Last of Us 2’s latest trailer-gameplay video is proof of anything, it’s that Naughty Dog hasn’t lost their touch one bit. It’s an incredible trailer that places a lot of focus on Ellie during peaceful times followed up by the brutal combat and stealth gameplay that was a key element of the first game.

There’s currently no release date for the game yet, but we’re probably expecting a rather late 2018 to early 2019 release like most other announced games this E3.

Fallout 76 (PC, Xbox, PS4)

Open-world, Fallout, multiplayer – that’s what Fallout 76 is going to be, and I doubt we’re the only ones being excited about it. Fallout 76 is going to be an online-only multiplayer game. The game will also seemingly place an emphasis on rebuilding the world in a map that’s four times the one in Fallout 4.

After having explored the open wasteland from Fallout 3 to Fallout 4, many of us felt like a multiplayer element would’ve made the game just one step closer to perfect. The release date for Fallout 76 will be on 14th November 2018.

Halo Infinite (Xbox)

After trailing away from the usual protagonist and giving more screen-time and gameplay to an Agent Locke in Halo 5, 343 Industries returns the focus to the franchises’ iconic Spartan, Master Chief himself. However, Halo Infinite’s reveal at E3 isn’t actually the game trailer, but it’s more to showcase and introduce their new game engine, Slipspace – which probably means that it’s not going to be an accurate representation of the game as of now.

Halo Infinite’s single-player campaign release date is slated for somewhere in the late 2019 and the multiplayer part of it in 2020.

E3 still has a few more days to go before it wraps up and there's definitely more games that will be announced, including video game trailers and gameplay videos. We're on the edge of our seats here keeping up with the news, are you?
