PlayStation 4 Rumors

There have been rumors going around that the PlayStation 4 is cancelled by Sony which means that they will no longer do any development or research for a PlayStation 4 (PS4). We’d just read from a more reputable source that this indeed is NOT TRUE. The rumors we’re attributed to a mistake in the translation of news published from a Japanese website.

Gaming and tech news sites/blogs earlier reported about the cancellation but corrected their mistakes. The PlayStation 4 (PS4) is still being developed by Sony but it will not be made available this year 2011 because they will be concentrating on the Sony NGP or the Next Generation Portable.

The Japanese article also said that Sony is planning to increase the lifespan of the PS3 by doing software updates and a few tweaks. There are plenty more things that the PS3 console can do and they will be showcasing it this year.

“As regards home consoles, the PS3 was put into business in 2006, and it has a 10 year life cycle. This means that we aren’t even at the halfway point. There are certainly many more desirable first and third party titles coming out. As we announce and implement new initiatives on an annual basis, I still believe in the importance of improving the software and feature set of the PS3,” said SCEI chief Kazuo Hirai.

than...mesti penjualan ps3 trus merundum...game lak tak laku...
games developer lak stop/slow buat new games pasal dorg tow x balik modal..
boleh fikir logik bende ni..

lagi satu la..andai kata ps4 dah ade prototype die...suddenly kuar next year with out announcement..gamer still akan beli ps4...so which one better? sony umum ke x umum? xkan gara2 sony x umum tetibe ps4 keluar user x nak beli pasal merajuk?

Zack..btul btul btul..kita cuma boleh berharap ni seme lambat lg la berlaku..at least 3,4 tahun lg pun dh cukup bagi gamer yg kurang fulus ni..hihihi..

andaikata PS4 kuar gak next year, harga konsol yg baru tentu jatuh apatah lg yg used punya..

Dr pengalaman kita konsol PS dulu masa nak kuar PS2, kita dapati tiada konsol PS ONE baru yg dikuarkan oleh SCEI tu dulu. Yg berlambak di pasaran cuma model yg di refurbished kan..

Mungkin teori bro boleh direnungkan bersama memandangkan PS3 refurbished set dh mula memasuki market kat sini..

Wallahuqlam..kita tunggu & lihat ngan penuh syahdu..(

Namun selagi game2 baru tetap kuar @ PS3, Lubang idungmu tetap menjadi pujaan hatiku!

mesti super duper realistik, mungkin siap 3D ag, WIFI built In, dsbnya..
dan yg paling dibimbangi SCEI akan mempastikan FW yg baru nanti Hack Proof!(

good news.. tp mcm biasa.. kitaran ps hnya berlaku dlm 10tahun sekali jer.. sony kene menghargai peminat la.. bli ps3 mahal2 tiba2 game stop production.. mengamuk kang user ps3.. ini bukannya nokia yg sentiasa melakukan pembaharuan kat teknologi diorang smpikan hp2 baru yg kita rasa dh amat canggih tiba2 dh ketinggalan zaman.. cth : n95 n-gage.. skrg ni semua model2 baru semuanya high end.. so, aku sbg salah seorang user ps3 hrp sgt2 ps4 or ps next generation akan kuar 5-6 tahun lg..

hmm kita xleh berharap saja..kita kena mula simpan duit mula dr skang maybe lingkungan RM3ribu gak..sb segalanya mungkin dlm arus permodenan gadget skang..
Klau SCEI nk launch new gen ps dia xkira tang penghargaan peminat seme..janji dpt launch sblum pesaing mereka yg terdekat tentulah dr MS kan..utk tarik pengikut baru..market strategi la katakan..tungguuu n lihat n enjoy yg mana ada skang...

diorang takkan launch consol terbaru dlam masa terdekat ini..sbb ps3 bagi sony is a money losing business..dalam setahun dua ini baru menunjukkan perkembangan positif.sony hampir bankrup jugak pasal ps3 nie+ tambahan pulak blu-ray lens mahal nak manufacture....as we predict..the intoduction of sony's move, will add around 4-5 year of lifecycle to the console, its the same for microsoft xbox with its kinect..will add 3-4 year to its lifecycle.

ps: when u design a new console..new support and tools must be developed...studio partner must be trained...bukan upgrade..tapi buat baru jugak..dan ini akan melibatkan kos yang tinggi..tapi stndard ar 10 tahun..rasanya xbox keluar dulu..dalam 4 tahun lagi..

apa2 pun bila ps4 keluaq aku akan beli... ps freak...
