Italo Galbiati: Fabio Capello has not had contact with Inter president

England assistant coach Italo Galbiati has revealed that Fabio Capello has not been in contact with Inter president Massimo Moratti over the possibility of taking over from Rafael Benitez.

The Three Lions boss was rumoured to be in talks with the Italian giants last week, with pressure mounting on Benitez after falling 13 points behind leaders AC Milan at the weekend.

However, Galbiati says that the rumours circulating about a possible transfer are only journalistic inventions.

"I know that Capello was in Manchester to watch the Manchester United-Arsenal match, and not in Italy," Galbiati told Odeon TV. "The news is being made up by journalists.

"Fabio has not had any contact with Moratti. They are only voices, and I do not even give them credit.

"Our aim is to work together to get the England national team to the final of the European Championships, and this is our sole focus."

Alessandro Del Piero looking forward to Manchester City Europa League clash

Juventus captain Alessandro Del Piero is drawing inspiration from Sunday's win over Lazio in a bid to beat Manchester City in the Europa League on Thursday.

Del Piero and company are already out of Europe, but Juventus are desperate to end their European journey with a win after five draws in as many games.

"Not all games are worth 'just' three points because some, like the one last Sunday, are often worth much more," Del Piero told his official website.

"And although our thoughts are on the game against Chievo on Sunday, one game we are preparing to honour the Europa League is the one against Manchester City."

Milos Krasic insists Juventus can win the Scudetto

Milos Krasic insists Juventus are in the hunt for the Scuddeto this season. The Old Lady have recently leapt into second place, and the deficit behind AC Milan now stands at just six points.
Krasic says his side are hoping to continue their unbeaten run of 12 games in a bid to improve their chances of winning the title.

"Of course Juventus are looking at the Scudetto," Krasic told B92 tv.

"But, like I said before, we cannot run, but we are capable of going strongly.

"We have showed quality and consistency in our play and we hope to continue at this pace as we have gone 12 games without a loss.

"We will see what happens, but the wins certainly give us trust and help with our Scudetto hopes."
